This process will help you clean your rooms quickly and efficiently. You may choose or your property may have reasons for you to clean differently than this schedule; that is fine as long as the room is cleaned to meet standards.

  1. How -Where do you start?

The following is a suggested order of cleaning a room. While it is not required that you follow this order exactly, the tasks have been placed and grouped in order to provide maximum efficiency and with as few trips for supplies as necessary.

  • Enter room using correct entry methods.
  • Place the cart directly in front of the door.
  • Turn on all lights in the room.
  • Open the drapes –Long Curtains to maximize light
  • Check that the drapes are working correctly.
  • Check the room for lost and found items.
  • Check room for missing supplies.
  • Retrieve supplies or call to have them delivered.
  • Remove any "requested items" from the room, i.e., rollaway, or room service tray.
